This Privacy Policy for Cheeseman LLC (“we” or “Cheeseman”) pertains to the website “https://cheeseman.com” (the "Site"). This website privacy policy ("Policy") describes how Cheeseman may use and disclose information that we may collect about you through the Site. In addition you may provide certain shipping information relating to transportation cervices that we provide. The primary use of Personal Information we gather is to request reports for the employment by hire or contract, insurance and/or provision of credit. We may from time to time use your Personal Information for our marketing and for business purposes, such as data analysis, audits, and improving our services.

2. Disclosures of Personal Information

Cheeseman may disclose Personal Information to third parties in the following circumstances: (1) for pre-employment screening of drivers by Cheeseman and our third-party service providers who perform such functions and services on our behalf; (2) to comply with applicable laws, the service of legal process, or if we reasonably believe that such action is necessary to (a) comply with the law requiring such disclosure; (b) protect the rights or property of Cheeseman or its affiliated companies; (c) prevent a crime or protect national security or (d) protect the personal safety of the users or the public; and (3) in conjunction with marketing campaigns in which case your email or phone number may be shared with a third party to handle the campaign for Cheeseman. We also may disclose or transfer information to a third party in the event of any reorganization, merger, sale, joint venture, assignment, transfer or other disposition of all or any portion of our business, assets or stock (including in connection with any bankruptcy or similar proceedings).

Cheeseman will not further distribute, sell, give or trade Personal Information with any third party that is not associated with employment by hire or contract, insurance or provision of credit.

In no event will Cheeseman resale or re-disclosure Personal Information contained in state motor vehicle records except as provided by law.
